Women in Angling (WIA) inspires, empowers and connects women across the sportfishing industry—on the water, in the workplace and as leaders shaping the future of angling.

Created in support of the American Sportfishing Association, WIA officially launched at ICAST 2026, bringing together women from every corner of the industry, including manufacturers, retailers, media, guides, content creators, conservationists, marketers, executives and entrepreneurs.

The launch is just the beginning.

We are building a strong and engaged membership community and developing programs that create meaningful opportunities for networking, mentorship, professional development, leadership, recognition and connection. With the right support, WIA can expand its programming, strengthen its member experience and create even more opportunities for women to succeed and lead in sportfishing.
